ASP1 Accreditation Positions EnerMech EPS for NSW Infrastructure Projects

EnerMech EPS has established its reputation as a leading electrical and mechanical services provider on Australia’s largest projects through the philosophy of end-to-end delivery across all project stages from construction to operations and maintenance. As an organisation, we strive for the highest standards of industry-recognised accreditation and certification as part of this ethos. The most recent testament to this is our Level 1, Grade A and Level 2 Accreditation for the Underground Category under the NSW Government Accredited Service Provider Scheme (ASP). EPS are delighted with this Grade A rating as it means that EnerMech EPS scored between 86% and 100% on the ASP scheme’s assessment report.

These accreditations enable EnerMech EPS to work at all stages of contestable services on the NSW Ausgrid network for AusGrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy, in cable terminations and underground works. The ASP1 Accreditation is the latest in a number of accreditations which support EPS Group’s strategy to leverage our high level experience in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Resources on NSW Government infrastructure projects. When combined with our recent Workplace Health & Safety Certification and Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) status, this attainment establishes EnerMech EPS as a comprehensively accredited project services supplier for NSW Government works.

As the NSW Government increases spending on infrastructure in alignment with community needs and growth projections, a record $73.3 billion will be spent on improving infrastructure and front line services across the next four years. This includes a $21.8 billion commitment towards 672 major infrastructure initiatives as part of the Rebuilding NSW Plan over the next year.

These significant government investments have been budgeted to include work on roads, public transport and freight. Current and upcoming projects include Sydney CBD, Parramatta and Newcastle Light rail; WestConnex; and the regional infrastructure program with a significant $6 billion currently dedicated to supporting economic growth and productivity in regional NSW. At this time of hugely accelerated development in NSW, our experience, governance and accredited status positions EnerMech EPS exceptionally well to play a significant role in shaping the future of NSW infrastructure.
