EnerMech EPS has deployed specialised key resources support on a number of Queensland projects. The highly skilled teams include Permit-To-Work managers, issuers, coordinators and isolators, Superintendents, Supervisors, Instrumentation Technicians, EEHA Inspectors, EEHA Auditors and Electricians. In total there are over 150 EnerMech EPS staff working on projects in Queensland providing technical expertise.
Directors of EnerMech EPS were recently in attendance at a celebratory BBQ with the team, including Managing Director Paul Buckley, Electrical Director, John Cox and new Mechanical Director, Brett McGrane.
Brett has come to EnerMech EPS with over 26 years’ experience in major infrastructure having worked with clients such as Melbourne Water, Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, and the Department of Sustainability & the Environment to name a few. It was a perfect opportunity for Brett to experience first-hand the stellar work being done by the EnerMech EPS team, “This is one of my first opportunities with EnerMech EPS to catch up with a client and really understand what makes EPS Group Australia tick. Having seen the project and met with the client, it is clear why EnerMech EPS has become a leading force in specialised Oil and Gas works. The fact everyone on the team is at the absolute top of their game is very evident.”
As E&I Manager, part of John Cox’s role is to evaluate the resources required and select the right team for the job. For him, seeing success like this marks a job well done, “As with all our projects, we put a lot of thought in to this one to make sure we had the best labour and approach to achieve the right results for Bechtel. It’s good to see it pan out the way we drew it up”.
MD, Paul Buckley was thrilled with his team and the quality of work, saying “It’s great to get out here face-to-face in an informal setting with our clients and to hear from them how our team has contributed to this pivotal project. We know our people do outstanding work but there is nothing like hearing about the outcomes directly from our client. This is the kind of work we want to be doing at EnerMech EPS, I’m proud our people can deliver on some of the most challenging and complex oil and gas projects on the planet right now. ”
