EnerMech EPS recently undertook an independent audit process with Achilles FPS to validate and formalise our capability, competence and compliance as a supplier. An extensive analysis was conducted in important business functions including Human Resources, Health & Safety, Quality Management, Environment and Corporate Responsibility.
Achilles FPS is the community supplier management system used by major Oil & Gas buying organisations such as Origin, QGC and Santos in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region. It enables the APAC Oil & Gas sector to use Achilles’ proven supplier prequalification system to identify, prequalify and assess suppliers for tender opportunities whilst minimising risk within their prospective supply chains.
The process has proven valuable to our efforts for continuous improvement, with a number of observations offered, which will be considered for future organisational governance. EnerMech EPS exceeded requirements in all areas scoring an overall 79% (where 75% is considered to have met requirements), a result we are very proud of as a relatively young organisation.
While EnerMech EPS met or exceeded all assessed areas, there were a number of important areas in which we delivered exceptional results. These key areas, in which EnerMech EPS scored particularly highly include Quality Control and Assurance, Anti Discriminatory and Recruitment Practice, Occupational Health and Environmental Management.
Given the rigorous nature of the assessment process, these scores demonstrate our commitment to industry leading business practices.
Overall, the result represents further proof of our position as a market leader and will be viewed favourably as we tender for future works with major clients into 2016.
