This client-focussed strategic approach has resulted in EnerMech EPS being formally recognised as a Finalist in the Financial Review and PwC's Private Clients' Aspire Awards 2016 in the category of Private Business Growth and Transformation $50M to $100M.
The Aspire Awards are presented to businesses with outstanding track records, leading in their field and known for outperforming their competitors by pushing the boundaries of success. The Awards are spread across six different categories, including a category for recent business transformations for which EnerMech EPS has been nominated. Paul Buckley, Managing Director of EnerMech EPS is delighted to be in the running for this prestigious award and was quoted as saying, “we are honoured to be recognised for this award. The ability to thrive in challenging times is a result of a carefully considered growth strategy, without compromising service levels, client outcomes or safety. By continually expanding our service offering in highly specialised areas, we are uniquely able to provide value to our clients over the entire project lifecycle. This full lifecycle approach has enabled EnerMech EPS to move beyond the initial construction and commissioning phases of projects, into an ongoing operations and maintenance function. Not only has this resulted in longer term client relationships, it has subsequently limited the organisation’s exposure as the LNG construction boom has subsided into the production phase.
Our staff have been critical in our growth, with our philosophy of hiring and retaining the industry’s brightest talent, resulting in a profound transformation from niche electrical contractor to a multi-disciplined industry leader in electrical and mechanical services employing more than 300 skilled staff today.
More recently, EnerMech EPS anticipated the needs of the industry in our approach toward the hugely accelerated growth in NSW infrastructure, leveraging a transferable skill set and strong experience in Oil & Gas, specifically LNG, to move into infrastructure, with a strong focus on the upcoming period of accelerated growth in infrastructure asset development as part of NSW Governments Rebuilding NSW Plan. As part of our strategic vision in NSW, the organisation applied continuous improvement of processes and governance both internally and by independent third-party audits to ensure sustained innovation and excellence. This approach has delivered a broad set of industry accreditations and credentials including ASP1 Accreditation, OH&S Best Practice Certification and Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) status for NSW Rail Assets Authority.
Underpinning our whole of project lifecycle and multi-disciplinary strategic approach was the launch in 2014 of the EnerMech EPS Mechanical business. By recognising client demand for EnerMech EPS to add to electrical and instrumentation services with Mechanical capability, and the complementary nature of Mechanical work with existing offerings, EnerMech EPS Mechanical has provides a comprehensive and seamless service.
By keeping front-of-mind our client and industry needs, EnerMech EPS has created a strong foundation for future growth, with a resilient order book and further prospective work expected to drive strong financial performance through 2017 and beyond.
EnerMech EPS has transformed significantly over the past three years, with expansion in new markets, broader service offering, stronger back-office resources and sustained business development. These factors have culminated in substantial growth in headcount and revenue to offer stable business projections for the future. These results are a testament to the committed, skilled and enthusiastic team at EnerMech EPS, including our experts in the field, support staff and executive. Recognition for these accomplishments by a private sector Awards program as reputable as the Financial Review and PwC's Private Clients' Aspire Awards is a significant achievement and one to be celebrated by the entire “EnerMech EPS Family” that contributed.
